Cassandra has extensive experience working as a Psychologist in both child and adult heath and forensic services. She has special interests in working with children including trauma, anxiety and complicated behavioural issues and providing specialised parenting support, and having experience with caregiver training. Cassandra is passionate about working collaboratively with a child’s support system to promote the best possible outcomes for children and their carers. She has particular interest in working with individuals with ADHD and undertaking psychometric assessment of ASD and ADHD. Cassandra has experience also with adults in the treatment for PTSD, substance use issues, mood disorders, grief and loss and anxiety.

Cassandra provides a friendly and approachable therapeutic space to engage with clients and understands that seeing a Psychologist can feel sometimes overwhelming initially, for both children and adults. She knows that therapy with kids also needs to be fun sometimes too. She supports her clients through a strength based approach using interventions including cognitive behaviour therapy and Trauma Focused-CBT, EMDR, PCIT, motivational interviewing, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Casandra wants her clients to feel listened to, to have someone understand their lived experience and work towards achieving the goals that are important and meaningful to them.
