Demitra is a provisional psychologist who emphasises compassion, empathy, and understanding in her practice. Central to her approach is creating a warm and inviting therapeutic environment, where clients are encouraged to express themselves freely and without reservation.

Demitra is deeply committed to fostering strong therapeutic alliances, characterised by a non-judgmental stance and an earnest curiosity to explore clients’ experiences collaboratively. She recognises the discomfort often associated with therapy, and so she endeavours to establish a secure and nurturing space conducive to meaningful exploration and growth.

Demitra is drawn to working with children and adolescents, where she takes interest in addressing a spectrum of mental health concerns. Her experience extends to supporting NDIS clients and adolescents grappling with anxiety and bullying.

Furthermore, Demitra’s interest in employing psychometric assessments allows her to customise interventions that boost well-being and deepen comprehension within clients and their support systems. Embracing a client-centred and strengths-based approach, she seamlessly combines diverse therapeutic techniques to create individualized interventions that address the distinct needs of each person, to enhance their therapeutic experience.
