With children, I incorporate toys, playful stories, and gentle metaphors in my sessions that make those big emotions feel a little less overwhelming. With adults, I aim to ask questions that make you pause and take a minute to think of the answer. And with couples, I aim to highlight the patterns that keep showing up and getting in the way, because once you can name them, you can finally begin to change them.
Ultimately, my aim for individuals is to walk out of our sessions with a clear path forward, and an understanding of the steps they need to take to achieve their goals.
I'm also someone who gently, but honestly, names the elephant in the room. I get curious about the thoughts and behaviours that may no longer be serving you. I do this partly to challenge you (because when we are challenged, we are motivated), and because I believe that's where real growth quietly begins
