We understand that sometimes things don’t go to plan. Illness, last-minute conflicts, or unexpected life events can interfere — and we genuinely want to support you through those moments.

At the same time, we run an incredibly busy practice with extensive waiting lists and highly trained clinicians who prepare for every session in advance.

To respect everyone’s time - including yours - we have a clear cancellation and rescheduling policy:

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, or do not attend your session, the full session fee will apply.
Why This Matters
Every appointment time is protected and held just for you. When a session is cancelled at short notice, it’s not simply a gap in the calendar. That time can’t be offered to someone else who desperately needs support - because many of our clients need to organise time off work, rearrange childcare, or pull their child out of school just to attend. That can’t be done on a few hours’ notice.

Our psychologists also dedicate time before each session to review your history, plan interventions, and tailor care to your goals. A cancelled session often means time already spent - and a spot that could have gone to someone waiting weeks or months for care.

As a result, late cancellations or missed appointments have a genuine impact - not only on us, but on others in our community who are waiting for help.
How to Cancel or Reschedule

Please call or email us with as much notice as possible. The more time you give, the more likely we are to offer that spot to someone in need - and keep your care on track.
