
Michael is a Registered Psychologist with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. He aims to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space for each client to feel heard and understood, build on their strengths, and to be guided towards a balanced and fulfilling life.
Michael’s approach to therapy is warm, empathic, person-centred, and focused on ensuring that each client receives care that is tailored to their individual needs and goals. He is passionate about early intervention and draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness practices. He has experience working with a range of mental health concerns, including depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD and trauma, Autism and ADHD, addiction, relationship challenges, and workplace stress. Michael aims to work collaboratively with each client and prides himself on his ability to establish a strong therapeutic alliance, demonstrate genuine care and support, and provide therapy that is guided by empathy, knowledge, and experience.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours; First Class) and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree. He is fully registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA and is a current member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Michael provides psychological therapy under Medicare, NDIS supports, and for those wishing to attend privately. He is also available to administer psychometric and diagnostic assessments.
