
Rachelle is a compassionate and understanding psychologist who takes a genuine interest in her client’s lives and utilises a person-centred, strengths-based approach informed by evidence-based therapies to empower them to independently achieve their goals and create the life they want to live.
Rachelle is passionate in working with children, adolescents and their families to live harmonious lives and improve their daily functioning in all environments. Rachelle takes a holistic approach to understanding every client’s presenting concerns and uses her playful and creative nature to help clients of all ages feel at ease in the therapy process. Rachelle is informed by numerous therapeutic approaches and tailors these to individual client needs, utilising Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, play therapy, and Strengths-based approaches.
Rachelle has experience in a range of presentations, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, physical disabilities, tic disorders. Rachelle has extensive experience supporting children, siblings, parents, and family members navigate many challenging aspects of life and development including emotional and behavioural concerns, attachment and parenting concerns, complex family dynamics, social and play, grief and loss, and significant change.
Rachelle is a registered psychologist and a member of Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPI).
