In-Person vs Telehealth

We offer both in-person and online therapy, and there’s no “better” option - just what works for you.

In-person therapy

Seeing your psychologist face-to-face in one of our calm, thoughtfully designed spaces can offer a sense of grounding. Some clients find it easier to be present, tune into body language, and create routine around their mental health care. In-person can also be ideal for certain therapy types, like play therapy or trauma work.

Telehealth therapy

Accessing therapy from home offers incredible flexibility. For clients with busy schedules, health conditions, or childcare challenges, telehealth is often a game-changer. It’s just as effective, secure, and tailored as in-person work - with the added bonus of no travel.

Tips for a good telehealth session:

  • Use headphones for privacy and better audio
  • Choose a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted
  • Arrive a few minutes early to mentally transition into the session

Many of our clients start with one format and switch later - and that’s totally fine. We’ll meet you where you’re at, literally and emotionally.
