No GP referral needed to book. With a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan, we process your rebate on the spot, and Medicare usually pays it within 24–48 hours. You don’t need a referral to book at Unbound Minds. If you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate, you’ll need a referral and a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP.
Medicare currently rebates up to 10 individual sessions and 10 group sessions per calendar year under the Better Access program. Your GP usually refers you in blocks of 6, then reviews and may provide another 4.
We accept NDIS participants and WorkCover referrals.
We’ll ask about your goals, preferences and personality. With 25+ psychologists across our two clinics, we have more choice, so we can connect you with a psychologist who fits both your needs and your style. If it doesn’t feel right, tell us and we’ll match you with someone else. You won’t have to start over.
The first session is about understanding your story. You’ll talk about what brought you here, what you’d like to change and what support looks like for you. Your psychologist will then outline a plan for moving forward.
Yes. On a weekday mid-morning our Gledswood Hills clinic is about 3 minutes’ drive from Gregory Hills, 7 from Narellan, 8 from Oran Park, 10 to 12 from Campbelltown station and 14 from Camden, based on Google Maps on 24 September 2026. Allow extra time in peak hour.

Yes. You can have your sessions by telehealth anywhere in NSW, over secure video from home or wherever you feel comfortable. With a Mental Health Treatment Plan, Medicare pays the same rebate for a video session of 50 minutes or more as for one at the clinic. See online therapy.
