Autism Assessments
‍‍
For Children.

Most families wait 6–12 months. We can see your child within weeks - not months. Our assessments are comprehensive, neuro-affirming and led by registered psychologists who work extensively with children and teens.

Gold-standard, evidence-based assessment tools including ADOS-2. Plain language reports. School-ready recommendations.

No referral needed. Our team will help you figure out the right next step
No One Else Sees It.
But You Do.
You see the way they stand at the edge of the playground while the other kids run together. You notice the meltdowns that aren't tantrums - they're overload. The scripts repeated word for word from their favourite show. The morning routine that falls apart if one thing changes.

You've mentioned it to family. They said "all kids do that." You've raised it with the teacher. They said "they're fine in class." You've Googled it at midnight more times than you can count.

But you know your child. And you know something's going on that no one else is willing to name.

An assessment doesn't change who your child is. It gives you the language for what you've always seen - and it gives every teacher, therapist, and family member better understand how to support them.

Your Questions, Answered.

Starting therapy or an assessment for your child can feel like a big step. Here are the questions we hear most often from parents - from how funding works, to what happens when you first get in touch.

How does it work?

Get in touch and our client care team will help you work out the right next step. We match your child with a psychologist based on their needs, experience, and personality fit. For assessments, we combine clinical testing, parent and teacher input, and direct observation across multiple sessions - then walk you through a detailed report with clear, practical recommendations. For therapy, we set goals with you and your child from the start and equip your family with strategies that make a real difference at home and at school.

How do I know if my child needs an assessment or therapy?

You don't need to know - that's our job. Tell us what you're noticing and we'll help you work out the right starting point.

What if my child won't open up to a psychologist?

Our psychologists are experienced at building rapport with young people. Sessions are designed to feel comfortable, not clinical. And if the match isn't right, we have a large enough team to find someone who clicks.

Will a diagnosis label my child?

A diagnosis is an explanation, not a label. It helps make sense of what's been difficult, and it can unlock access to school support, funding, and targeted strategies that weren't available before.
